Mình ức tất cả những thứ dẫn tới sự việc ngày hôm đó, drinks, Maya following Kevin to his room, the fact that she’s 15 and shows up at a place full of dangerous wasted young men, the fact that she likes a powerful person who’s so used to having things his way, Ana being jealous at the wrong time and choosing to leave instead of checking on her friend. And Kevin seemed to be a nice boy at first, too.
Mình đã rất thất vọng. Người thực ra tốt hơn lại là một violent, problematic Benji. He’s gay btw, which explains why he doesn’t use his popularity for girls. Maya was too young when that happened, and that will follow her forever. She’ll never feel safe again. One event that I have hopes for, is Amat checking in on Maya and discovering the assault. But I hate it when he was too drunk too and couldn’t man enough to help her, and that she refused to get help.
This so far has been a really good read!! It broke my heart, boiled my blood (didn’t help after all that shi in law n order svu. i hope it’ll get better 😭), and made me read nonstop during the boring 5Ks.
