I’ve had this Fujifilm since 2017. Over the years, the X-E1 and the 18-55 lens started feeling too heavy to carry around, so it mostly sits on the shelf.

But every now and then I pick it up, head out, and remember why I bought it in the first place. Part of me wants to swap it for something tiny enough to toss in a bag every day, but those cameras are painfully overpriced, so this one stays.

Here are some photos I took with the X-E1.

Tools

  • SanDisk memory card
  • Battery: I carried an extra battery for a 5-day trip, but I underestimated how fast the battery drains. I might need 2 extras.
