I didn’t expect this book to be a queer book!!! I never knew the queer stories between Achilles and Patroclus, so this was very interesting to me.
I adore their passionate, intimate, and unwavering love for each other. Although scholars never settled whether they’re lovers or friends, there’s something tender about how they treat each other in Miller’s version.
Not all warriors need to be macho, they can be soft and romantic, too.
